CROCHET MOOD BLANKET 2014

Hi there!!! How are you all? Hope everything is fine.
Well, how is the CMB 2014 going?
I am doing very well, very happy to be in such a lovely project, I am really enjoying it.

I love the mix of the colours

I have started to join the squares, i think I will do it once a week or so. I will try and not to keep a lot of them without to join.

A NICE SUNDAY

Hi everyone!! How has your weekend been?
Here has been a nice and relaxed one. Saturday we was most of the time resting and relaxing around, but today we have spent a bit of more time out, enjoying the nice and sunny day.

To start the day, we have gone to have some breakfast out to a place which has this lovely play ground for children, to let Ilianna enjoy for a bit. The weather was nice and not cold at all so, perfect for a playtime outdoors.

She has really enjoyed a lot, everyday she is more independent needing our help less and less.

After running around jumping in moody poodles she has decided that it was enough, then daddy's turn to push the pram.

I like to catch the beauty of the trees in all its forms and I really like the way the branches looks in Winter.

What the dampness can create

This has been our morning, then after a bit of a rest we have decided to have a ride around the Lancashire Moors

Well and that has been my weekend so far, of course in between I have had some lovely yarn time, I have finished my crochet cowl as I posted on my last post.

A COWL FOR MYSELF

Hi everyone!!! Hope you all are fine and enjoying the weekend, whatever you are doing.
As you know I have joined the Crochet Mood Blanket 2014 project and I am really enjoying it. And although I have chosen to make one square everyday, somedays I just feel crocheting more and maybe something different.

Weeks ago I bought this lovely and chunky yarn

It is really nice and soft and really easy to work with. 

After looking on http://www.pinterest.com for some inspiration, I decided to use the Back Loop Double Crochet stitch. I really like it and it looks great on the cowl.

I didn't relise that the photo wasn't bright enough, it doesn't show the colour properly, the dominant colour is purple, I love that colour, I can't have enough of it lol

And this is the result! I love it it is going to be great to keep myself warm in the more cold days.

Because I've still got plenty of this yarn left for another cowl, I have decided to make another one, bit this time I will try and knit it. I will show you the procedure and final result. 

Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Here it has started rainy and a bit windy, so....we'll see what we do.

CROCHET MOOD BLANKET 2014

Hi to everyone!!!
How are you doing?? I am back in the UK, happy and a bit upset at the same time as I miss my mum sooooo much...but holidays are finished and we are very busy here, trying to find a lovely and cozy place to live, so...

What it would be your priority when trying to find a home?
Let me know and maybe I will get inspired by all your opinions ;)

This was my first morning here, the UK was welcoming me with its best  colour and I was very grateful.

And now let us go to the Crochet Mood Blanket 2014

This is my second week squares, I have add some more colours all them related to my moods.

After trying a couple or three different patterns I have decided that this one is gonna be the one, simple and lovely at the same time.

Well at the moment this is it, I will try and post something else this week, as I am thinking about to start a new crochet project. Something not very complicated, just something to add to the squares, because just one square everyday is not much crochet sometimes. I have been thinking about a cowl for myself, I have a lovely chunky yarn ideal for it so, we will see.

CROCHET MOOD BLANKET 2014

Hi to everyone!!
Are you all doing well? Hope this new year is treating you all very nice.
I am as my squares can reflect, something between blessed and upset, why? because I am spending my holidays in Catalonia, where I am from and where my family lives. I have spent nearly three weeks, (My God, time just flies!) and I feel upset about to leave (next Sunday)  and blessed about to return to the UK and to my lovely partner, who by the way, couldn't come with us due to health problems ( he is getting better now). Anyway, here is my first week of CROCHET MOOD BLANKET 2014 which in fact, has been made in Catalonia, maybe some more squares will be make in Catalonia along this year, but at the moment the next one and a few more will be coming from the lovely UK.

I started making the same pattern but then and inspired by Pinterest I decided to make some different patterns, just to make it more enjoyable.

And this is the result of my first week.

I really like them. This week I will introduce some new colours.

I am really excited about this project, I think it's lovely and I hope to be able to finish it, which I am sure I will.

CROCHET MOOD BLANKET 2014

Hi to everyone!! Hope everybody is doing really well. Here everything's fine, just my little girl has caught a cold so, lots of cuddles and mommy's milk.

I have started my first granny square

As you can see I have chosen green colour for my first square. If you have seen my last post, where I did show my colour list, I gave to the colour green the fertile mood. 

Why I have chosen to start with green? Because I feel that I want to get pregnant again. My little girl is 21 months old, I am 39 years old so, I feel for sure that now is the moment. 

So come on Fertility!!

And this is my first square done, ta-dah!!

I have decided that I will make one every day, seven per week, which I will share with you all on a weekly post, explaining the colour, the mood and my week.

I am looking forward to see all  of your post too, I am sure is going to be a nice project.

CROCHET MOOD BLANKET 2014
