MAKING BREAD

Hi everybody!! Hope all you are doing really well and enjoying the nice weather.
Around here it feels like Spring has arrived and it makes me soooo happy to enjoy the Sun, the fresh air and being outdoors.

Yesterday evening after a wonderful sunny day and the visit of a lovely friend, I decided to make some spelt bread, it was the first time I tried it with spelt and to be honest, I was quite happy with the result.

It was really nice bread, we enjoyed it so much and soon was all gone.

I have a recipe for banana bread, maybe one of these days I will try it and see what happen.

For today this is all, now I am gonna try and relax because I have headache and I am feeling really tired so, hope all you have had a great weekend wherever you are and don't forget to be happy.

CROCHET MOOD BLANKET 2014

Hi to everybody!!!! Hope all of you are doing well. It has been a bit of a long time since last time but, I have been a bit busy and though we are not settle yet we have changed our camp base.

This is where we are living at the minute while we are looking for the property we need.

It is a quite place at Somerset, not so far from Wells and Glastonbury and it makes me very happy being able to go to Glastonbury so often as it is a place that I really like, I couldn't live in there but I definitely love spending time around.

So though I am really looking forward to find our place and be settle, I am really enjoying this moment.

I will think about doing a post all about Glastonbury, we'll see...

But while enjoying I haven't forgotten my CMB 2014 project at all  and though some days I have need to rush to be able to crochet the 7 squares, I have done it!!

This was my ninth week so far

This are almost all my squares joined. To be honest, I am quite proud how my blanket is looking.

Well this is more or less all. Hope I can find more time to be around here with more news about all the bits of my life, until then take care and be very happy.

CRYSTALS

Hi my lovely friends!! Hope all of you are well and happy.
Today I am not going to talk about crochet or about my day or family. What I would like to share today with you is my love for crystals. I find them just fascinating and of a good use.

Since I was a little girl I was always trying to find special and different stones, I used to love to look for them at the beach, river, woods...everywhere, imagining that they were magical or old enough to have been in very older days.

But I have a favourite one and believe me that I love all them, but there is something about Amethyst that it makes me really love that crystal, it could be the colour (purple) as I am a purple lady, I am not sure but I do have a real attraction for Amethyst.

So let me share with you something about them.

Amethyst is said to aid creative thinking and spiritual awareness. It is a protective stone and wearing it as jewellery or carrying it in your pocket is said to protect against psychic attack. Placing Amethyst by the side of your bed while you sleep is thought to reduce nightmares.

I just love them, the colour, the different shapes...I wouldn't mind to be surrounded by a good amount of them, just watching its beautiful colour and forms it must be so relaxing.

I have a few of them in different ways, some are pendants that I normally wear in Summer, other ones stones that sometimes I place in my handbag and another ones for my home as an ornament that at the same time gives good vibrations.

Well this today has been a different post, but as my blog's name says Bits of my days it's a bit of everything that forms my life and Crystals by the way is something that I really like, so I hope you have enjoyed reading it as much as I've done it.

CROCHET MOOD BLANKET 2014

Hi darlings!! How are you doing? hope everything's ok. Is the weather ok where you are? Here has been quite awful to be honest, but it is what it is...

This morning was absolutely grey and damp, really bad and sad morning but by the afternoon the wind had blown some clouds away and we have been able to enjoy a lovely walk.

I could share some more nice moments that I have been able to catch with my camera, but today is Tuesday and Tuesday is the Crochet Mood Blanket 2014 post day so, let me tell you about my squares.

As you can see the two colours that I have used more are pink and purple, blessed and spiritual, those had been my main moods this week.

WALES

Hi there lovely people!! How are you doing? How is the weather where you are? Here we have had a bit of wind, rain, sun... so, yesterday we took advantage of the sunny day we had and we spent a day out. I love mountains I don't know if it's because I have  always been around them or what, but they make me feel safer than flat places.

So, as we got up in the morning and we saw the bright light of the Sun, we decided to have a day out and my lovely man took us to  beautiful North Wales.

How beautiful is Mother Earth...breath taking...

I love rivers, they give me that feeling of flowing with the life that sometimes I lose.

What a lovely discovery!

It does amaze me, in the middle of the winter finding these very first signs of Spring, how lovely...

Daddy's girl...

How beautiful Nature is, we find ourselves in our right environment every time we are enjoying a walk, a landscape, listening the power of the river...we really feel Mother Earth as our Mother, the big one the one who nourish us in so many different ways. I can't understand why there are people so un-respectful towards the very thing that gives them existence.

So, this is the way I have started February, how about you?
